• Preparation: Ensure a clean, well-ventilated workspace. Gather all necessary equipment, including darkroom tools, film holders, and measuring containers.

• Dilution (if applicable): Check the product label for recommended dilution ratios. If dilution is needed, mix the fixer with the appropriate amount of water in a clean container.

• Temperature: Maintain the fixer at the recommended processing temperature (usually between 18°C to 24°C or 65°F to 75°F) for optimal results.

• Fixing Process:

  • Immerse the exposed X-ray film in the fixer solution.
  • Agitate gently for uniform coverage.
  • Allow the film to remain in the fixer for the specified time (typically 5-10 minutes, but refer to the product instructions).
