MRP: ₹ 4150.00   ₹ 3895.00

Discount: 6.14% off

G-BOND is a self-etching light-cured adhesive designed exclusively for dental professionals, ensuring optimal performance in recommended applications. Ideal for bonding light-cured composites, acid-modified composites (compomers), and dual-cured luting/core build-up composites to tooth structures, provided they undergo light curing. Contraindications include direct pulp capping and use in patients allergic to specific monomers or acetone. Avoid combining with chemically cured resins, eugenol-containing materials, or desensitizers. The application involves shaking, dispensing, and immediate application to prepared surfaces using a disposable applicator, followed by light curing for 10-20 seconds, depending on the light source. Post-curing, follow manufacturer instructions for composite placement, ensuring separate light curing for dual-cured composites. Finish with standard techniques. Proper storage, either refrigerated for prolonged periods or at room temperature, ensures product longevity. G-BOND facilitates efficient and reliable dental bonding procedures with attention to detail and professional care.

  • Type: Self-etching light-cured adhesive
  • Intended Users: Dental professionals
  • Bonding Applications: Light-cured composites, compomers, dual-cured luting, and core build-up composites
  • Compatibility: Not to be used with chemically cured resin, eugenol-containing materials, or desensitizers
  • Application Method: Shake, dispense, apply with disposable applicator, air-dry
  • Curing Time: 10-20 seconds depending on light source
  • Storage: Refrigerate for prolonged periods; otherwise, store at room temperature

  • 1 x 5ml bottle

Cavity Preparation:

  • Prepare the tooth using standard techniques.
  • Use a rubber dam for protection.
  • Dry the prepared tooth surfaces by gently blowing with an air syringe.
  • For direct pulp capping, use calcium hydroxide.

Application:

  • Shake the G-BOND bottle thoroughly before dispensing.
  • Dispense a few drops into a clean dispensing dish.
  • Replace the bottle cap immediately after use.
  • Apply G-BOND to the prepared enamel and dentin surfaces immediately using the Disposable Applicator II.
  • Leave undisturbed for 5-10 seconds after the end of the application.
  • Dry thoroughly for 5 seconds with oil-free air under maximum air pressure. Use vacuum suction to prevent adhesive splatter.

Additional Notes:

  • When removing from the refrigerator after long-term storage, let the G-BOND bottle stand at room temperature for several minutes before use.
  • Non-cut enamel should be treated with a 35-40% phosphoric acid gel, rinsed with water, and gently dried before using G-BOND.
  • Apply G-BOND immediately, as the material contains a volatile solvent.
  • Remove excess material on the tooth surfaces (other than those to be bonded) using a sponge or cotton pellet, as residue material is hard to remove after light curing.
  • If the applied material is contaminated with water, blood, or saliva before light curing, wash and dry the tooth and repeat the application procedure.

Light Curing:

  • Light cure using a visible light curing unit.
  • Halogen/LED (700 mW/cm²): 20 seconds or 10 seconds if the light guide tip is more than 10mm away from the surface.
  • High-power LED (more than 1200 mW/cm²): 10 seconds or 5 seconds if the light guide tip is more than 10mm away.
  • Use a protective light shield or similar protective eyewear during light curing.

Placement of Composites:

  • After light curing the adhesive, follow the manufacturer's instructions to place, contour, and light cure the chosen composite resin material.

Finish and Polishing:

  • Adjust the restoration and polish using standard techniques.
