Avue Soft Liner (DAV-j33-01) - Usage Directions

Preparation:

• Ensure a clean and dry working environment.
• Inspect the denture for any damage or debris; clean if necessary.
• If using on an existing denture, remove any existing soft liner material.

Surface Preparation:

• Roughen the bonding surface of the denture using air particle abrasion for improved bond strength.
• Pretreat the denture base resin with monomer and acetone to enhance the strength of the bond.

Primer Application:

• Apply a thin layer of A-SOFT PRIMER to the prepared denture surface.
• Allow the primer to dry completely before proceeding.

Mixing Avue Soft Liner:

• Use the AUTOMIX-cartridge for convenient and precise mixing.
• Dispense equal amounts of both components onto a mixing pad.
• Mix thoroughly until a homogenous consistency is achieved.

Application of Avue Soft Liner:

• Apply the mixed Avue Soft Liner evenly onto the primed denture surface.
• Ensure a uniform layer, covering all necessary areas.
• Use appropriate instruments to shape and contour the soft liner as needed.

Curing:

• Allow the Avue Soft Liner to cure according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
• This typically involves an addition curing process; follow the specified time and temperature guidelines.

Trimming and Finishing:

• Trim excess material carefully from the denture after curing.
• Use AVUE SOFTLINER VARNISH to coat and seal the trimmed edges.

Final Inspection:

• Inspect the finished denture for any irregularities.
• Ensure the soft liner is comfortable and properly adhered.

Patient Instructions:

• Instruct the patient on proper care and maintenance of the denture with the soft liner.
• Provide any additional information relevant to the patient's specific needs.
