Discount: 46.67% off

Ammdent URC Dual Cure Resin Cement offers advanced moist-bonding technology with its unique Resin Acid-Integrating Network (R.A.I.N). This innovative dental material forms chemical bonds in slightly moist environments, eliminating the need for separate bonding agents. It adheres to dentine, enamel, metals, ceramics, composites, and fiber posts, simplifying the cementation process. With a viscosity ideal for luting applications and a film thickness of 14 microns, it ensures precise placement and optimal mechanical properties. The cement can be dispensed easily via the Automix syringe system, ensuring accurate mixing and application. Uncured material may cause irritation, necessitating the use of safety glasses and gloves during application. Proper storage in a sealed container at cool room temperature ensures a shelf life of up to three years from the date of manufacture. Ammdent URC Dual Cure Resin Cement represents a reliable solution for various dental bonding needs, offering exceptional performance and ease of use for dental professionals.

  • Bonding stainless steel and nylon splinting materials.

  • Bonding Mechanism: Moist-bonding Resin Acid-Integrating Network (R.A.I.N)
  • Indicated Surfaces: Dentine, enamel, metals, ceramics, composites, fiber posts
  • Application: Cementation of crowns, inlays, onlays, bridges, veneers, posts, splinting materials
  • Bonding Agents Required: Not required, optional
  • Etching Requirement: Not required for dentine, indicated for untreated enamel surfaces
  • Film Thickness: 14 microns
  • Auto-Cure Time: 7-8 minutes
  • Storage Condition: Tightly sealed in original container at cool room temperature
  • Shelf Life (Unopened): 3 years from date of manufacture

  • 1 x 5g Syringe

Preparation:

  • Ensure proper isolation and preparation of the tooth or restoration according to standard dental procedures.
  • Rinse the prepared surfaces and remove excess water. Surfaces should exhibit slight moisture without pooling of water.

Automix Syringe Preparation:

  • Remove the cap from the Automix syringe.
  • Attach a mixing tip securely onto the syringe.

Mixing:

  • To ensure an even mix of the base and catalyst components, dispense a small drop (2-3mm) of the premixed portion of the cement onto a pad and discard.
  • Dispense the mixed cement directly onto the tooth or into the restoration.

Application:

  • Use gentle air or cotton pellets to remove excess water from the surfaces.
  • Surfaces should appear glossy; overly wet surfaces may compromise bond strength.
  • Apply the cement into the prepared surface or restoration, ensuring complete coverage without voids.

Post Cementation:

  • For post cementation, prepare the post hole and rinse, leaving dentine slightly moist.
  • Apply Ammdent URC Dual Cure Resin Cement directly into the canal, ensuring proper seating of the post.
  • Remove excess cement and light cure for 40 seconds. Auto-curing will continue for 7-8 minutes.

Inlays and Onlays:

  • Rinse tooth preparation and maintain a slightly moist surface.
  • Apply the cement into the preparation and seat the restoration.
  • Remove excess cement with dental floss while maintaining positive pressure on the inlay or onlay.
  • Apply oxygen-inhibiting gel on the margins to prevent the formation of an oxygen-inhibited layer.
  • Light cure for 20-30 seconds, allowing auto-curing to complete over 7-8 minutes.

Storage:

  • Store Ammdent URC Dual Cure Resin Cement tightly sealed in its original container at cool room temperature.
  • Avoid exposure to direct light, extremes of temperature, contamination, and potential sources of ignition.
