• 1 x 2 gm tube

Preparation:

• Ensure proper lighting and setup conducive to dental procedures.
• Gather all necessary equipment and materials.
• Prepare the patient for the procedure, providing appropriate dental bib and protective eyewear.

Surface Cleaning:

Clean the tooth surface thoroughly using one of the recommended methods:

• Air polishing
• Polishing with non-fluoridated pumice paste
• Hydrogen peroxide treatment
• Enameloplasty

Remove all heavy stains, deposits, debris, and plaque from the occlusal surface.

Drying:

• Dry the cleaned occlusal surface thoroughly using an air syringe or cotton rolls to ensure optimal adhesion of the sealant.

Application:

• Open the 2g tube of AMMDENT Pit & Fissure Sealant.
• Dispense an appropriate amount of sealant onto a disposable applicator brush or instrument.
• Apply the sealant evenly and thinly over the pits and fissures of the teeth requiring treatment.
• Ensure complete coverage of the susceptible areas while avoiding excess buildup.
• Use caution to prevent contact with soft tissues.

Curing (Optional):

• If using a light-cured sealant, follow the manufacturer's instructions for light curing to facilitate polymerization and bonding.

Post-Application Care:

• Instruct the patient to avoid eating or drinking for a specified period to allow the sealant to set properly.
• Provide post-operative instructions for oral hygiene and care of the sealed teeth.

Cleanup:

• Dispose of any used materials properly and sterilize reusable instruments according to standard protocols.
• Clean and disinfect the work area for the next procedure.
