MRP: ₹ 2990.00   ₹ 1495.00

Tor Vm Lug Matrices Kit are intended to separate the approximate surfaces of neighboring teeth during the restoration of type II. All matrices are volumetric, concave, formed from special corrosion-resistant steel. Thin matrixes are convenient to use for the restoration of small defects, thick ones - for the restoration of large carious cavities with destruction in the subgingival region. Thick matrixes keep the form well, which in some cases does not allow the use of wedges when restoring the gingival margin or the arbor wall.

  • Thickness - 0.035mm
  • Material - Stainless steel

  • lug matrices № 2.351 - 5 pcs.
  • lug matrices № 2.352 - 5 pcs.
  • lug matrices № 2.353 - 5 pcs.
  • lug matrices № 1.353L - 3 pcs.
  • MD ring № 1.167 - 1 pc.

Directions for using the Tor Vm Lug Matrices Kit:

  • Preparation: Ensure proper sterilization of the matrices before use to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Matrix Selection: Choose the appropriate matrix from the kit based on the size and location of the carious cavity or defect to be restored.
  • Placement: Carefully place the selected matrix around the tooth to be restored, ensuring a snug fit against the adjacent tooth surfaces.
  • No Matrix Retainer Required: These matrices are anatomically preformed and do not require a separate matrix retainer for stabilization.
  • Restoration Procedure: Proceed with the restoration process as per standard dental practice, utilizing the matrix to separate neighboring teeth and confine restorative material within the cavity.
  • Burnishing: After placement, gently burnish the matrix to ensure proper adaptation to the tooth surface, enhancing the seal and preventing leakage.
  • Thickness Variation: Use thin matrices for small defects and thick matrices for larger carious cavities, especially those extending subgingivally. Thick matrices maintain their form well, aiding in restoration without the need for wedges in certain cases.
  • Post-Procedure Care: After completion of the restoration, remove the matrix carefully to avoid dislodging the newly placed restorative material.
  • Cleaning and Sterilization: Clean the matrices thoroughly after each use, and sterilize them according to recommended guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety.
  • Storage: Store the matrices in a clean and dry environment, away from direct sunlight and moisture, to maintain their integrity for future use.
